A thick made and very expressive bull from the late 1950's produced by Frosty Acres of Adin, California - now known as the Albaugh Ranch in Fallon, Nevada. This bull is pure Native Shorthorn, and a Shorthorn breeder in South Dakota that has used him in the 1960's stated "this bull was way ahead of his time", and has "outstanding carcass data collected on him". He was collected and marketed by Curtis Breeding Services, and fortunately there was some semen left on this very rare individual. We look forward to the genetic contributions of this bovine for our native preservation program, and have already started some embryo flushing in 2008.
